Home Health Aide

Home_Health_AidHome Health Aides provide routine individualized healthcare to the elderly, or persons with disabilities at the patient’s home. Personal care includes activities like bathing, dressing & grooming the patient.
Home Health Aides work in collaboration with care-givers; and other healthcare providers. Apart from being skilled in their niche area of work, they are expected to have good communication skills, empathetic & ethical behaviour. The individual should be calm & patient while dealing with elderly persons.

– Health, Environment & Safety – to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patient & self
Apart from the above; employers expect HHAs to be competent, independent, manage time & have detail oriented skills.
